The reverse bucket was physically stuck in the \u201cdown\u201d position, meaning the ski could only move in reverse or neutral, making it impossible to ride at speed. The local dealership quoted over $1,200 to replace the entire IBR assembly module.<br>Our Solution: Instead of replacing the whole unit, we removed the IBR actuator for a component-level inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diagnosis: We opened the actuator housing and found water intrusion had caused the internal electric motor to rust and seize up. We then re-lubricated the main drive screw and gears with marine-grade grease. No more warning lights.
